Come on out and celebrate our third annual DIAMOND Foundation night in partnership with the New Jersey Nets. Nothing is better than the NBA, live and in person. Make the short trip to the IZOD Center to see, rookie Terrence Williams, center Brook Lopez & fast as light point guard Devin Harris take on the 2009 NBA Rookie of the Year, Derek Rose and the Chicago Bulls. This should be agreat battle on Eastern Conference Teams.

Dr. George A. Patterson Scholarship Luncheon & Fashion Extravaganza
The 2009 Dr. George A. Patterson Scholarship Luncheon and Fashion Extravaganza was held on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in New Brunswick, NJ. Over 200 guests attended another spectacular affair. The support of our patrons demonstrated the power of our community despite the economic recession. Three local students were honor as the 2009 DIAMOND Foundation Scholars. Their accomplishments in the classroom, in their schools and in the community make us proud and aware of the qualities of our next generation of leaders.
Blackstone Productions lead by fashion coordinator Shelly Blackstone put on another display of excellenceand elegance. The models grace the catwalk leaving those in attendance in a line waiting for the fashions being displayed. The show featured a tribute to President Barack Obama as well as a tribute to the members of the Divine Nine Greek Letter Organizations. The event featurd not only a fashion show and scholarship presentations but also a silent auction, tricky tray and a full vendors gallery. Over $4,000 was raised to support the programming of the foundation. We thank everyone for their support and look forward to making our 2010 event bigger and better.
