The New Brunswick Alumni chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc. is the parent organization of the DIAMOND Foundation, Inc. The chapter supports the foundation with an annual donation. The organization partners with the foundation to support the chapter's Saving Young Black Males initiative through the Kappa Leadership League and the foundation's D.I.A.M.O.N.D. Programs. The mnemonic DIAMOND stands for Developing Inspired Academic Minds, Overcoming Negative Devices.
P.E.A.R.L.S., Inc. is the philanthropic arm of the Nu Xi Omega Chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. The organization has been a consistent supporter of the foundation since its creation in 2003. In 2007, the foundation created the Diamond and Pearls Scholarship Award in an effort to recognize African-American male high school students on their achievements in the classroom and in the community. The award is given annually to a college bound high school senior.
The New Jersey Sharing Network is an organization dedicated to saving lives through organ and tissue donation. This organization educates the population on the importance of organ and tissue donation. The Sharing Network also sponsors registration drives. Through its resources and partnership, thousands of people have had a second chance at life. The foundation supports their efforts by supporting the annual Sharing Network Dinner.
The New Jersey Nets partner with the foundation to sponsor the annual DIAMOND Foundation Night. This event allows patrons to see exciting NBA action live and up close. A portion of the proceeds from each ticket sold is donated to the foundation. The foundation has held this event every year since 2007.
